Tinubu’s Government Is The Worst Nigeria Has Ever Had’ – Apostle Suleman

The Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman has criticized President Bola Tinubu’s administration, describing it as the worst government Nigeria has ever experienced.

ObasEmpire reports that he made the remark during a recent church service, where he poured out his frustration over the current state of the country.

According to him, life has become unbearable for many Nigerians, with hunger and hardship now a daily struggle for the common man.

The fiery preacher said the cost of living has risen sharply, and electricity has remained unreliable.

He accused those in power of being disconnected from the suffering masses because they can afford basic needs while others cannot.

Apostle Suleman pointed out that many citizens are in distress and desperate for help.

He accused those in power of being disconnected from the suffering masses because they can afford basic needs while others cannot.

Using Ghana as an example, he said the country is supporting its citizens better than Nigeria.

He urged Nigerians not to give up but to turn to prayer, saying it is the only instrument left to seek change.

He said: “This is the worst government in the history of nigeria. you can’t do anything to me this is the worst electricity worst you see if you feel because you can afford things you don’t care about people who can’t afford then you have a problem ghana is supporting a citizen ghana ghana listen to me the only instrument we have is prayer pray people are hungry people are hungry people are hungry sometimes i’m afraid to read my text message i’m afraid i’m afraid if i get one thousand message 900 are about food will somebody lie with hunger somebody can’t lie with hunger you can lie with car you can lie with house you can’t lie with food we are praying that God will remember us.”

Photo emergeds of a woman who Allgedly Committed Suicide At MFM Prayer City Auditorium Along Lagos–Ibadan Expressway

ObasEmpire reports on Sunday, July 20, 2025, reported that the incident reportedly occurred on Friday morning and was initially flagged by the church’s Chief Security Officer, Esiere Ekikere.

Photo of the 41-year-old woman, Benita Lurk Ikuenobe, who was discovered dead in a suspected suicide inside the auditorium of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM) Prayer City along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, has surfaced.

According to Ekikere, he received a distress call at approximately 7:20 a.m. alerting him to an unresponsive woman lying on the floor of the church auditorium.

It was gathered that police officers visited the scene, documented it with photographs, and later transferred the body to the Real Divine Hospital morgue for autopsy.

When Obasemprire contacted the Ogun State Police Command, the Public Relations Officer of the Command, Omolola Odutola, for comment via her mobile phone, the police spokesperson said the police have yet to establish the actual cause of Ikuenobe’s death.

It is a negative impression people are circulating around the state,” Odutola said.

The police are yet to establish her actual cause of death, and you know no family would want them or their people to be associated with such sentiment.”

BREAKING: Stop Using Buhari’s Death To Whitewash Your Battered Image – ADC Fires Tinubu Govt

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has accused the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of desperately exploiting the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari to whitewash its battered image.

In a statement sent to Naija News on Friday, the National Publicity Secretary of the ADC, Bolaji Abdullahi, called out President Tinubu’s government for what it describes as a cynical and opportunistic attempt to exploit the death of Buhari for political gains.

The ADC criticised the choreographed Federal Executive Council (FEC) tribute and the publicised appearance of Buhari’s grieving son, Yusuf, as “a calculated PR stunt by an unpopular government.”

According to the opposition party, the Tinubu administration had spent over a year blaming Buhari for the country’s economic troubles, only to now perform public grief in a bid to whitewash its battered image, especially in the North and among Buhari loyalists.

Abdullahi recalled how the government previously distanced itself from Buhari’s policies, especially on fuel subsidy, the economy, and public sector management, only to now attempt to cloak itself in the very legacy it once denounced.

It warned that grief is not a campaign strategy, adding that the late President’s family should be left alone to mourn their father in peace rather than being dragged into political circus show.

The full statement read: “The African Democratic Congress (ADC) condemns the Tinubu administration’s sudden and cynical attempt to wrap itself in the memory of the late President Muhammadu Buhari—a man this same government spent over a year blaming, sidelining, and scapegoating for every major challenge confronting the nation.

The choreographed Federal Executive Council (FEC) tribute, complete with a publicised appearance by our late President’s grieving son, was not a demonstration of genuine respect. It was a calculated public relations stunt by an unpopular government, carefully stage-managed to distract Nigerians from the administration’s deepening failures and to rewrite history while the nation mourns. This is hypocritical and in bad taste. You cannot spend months discrediting a man’s legacy only to turn around and perform grief for the cameras.

It is equally troubling that the young man, Mr. Yusuf Buhari, a private citizen and grieving son, was pulled into the political theatre of a Federal Executive Council meeting, just days after burying his father. Nigerians must ask, what kind of government uses the private pain of a bereaved family to varnish its own public image?

Nigerians remember that since taking office, the Tinubu administration and its officials have launched a relentless campaign to disown their predecessor’s policies . They have blamed Buhari for everything , accused him of fiscal recklessness, and claimed to have inherited a broken economy—not from the opposition, but from their own party’s former leader. For months, the official stance of the Tinubu Presidency was that Nigeria’s hardship was Buhari’s fault. The message was clear: Buhari was the problem, Tinubu was the solution. But now that it suits their political agenda, they seek to recast themselves as defenders of the late President’s legacy, pretending to give him in death, the honour they denied him while he was alive.

Recall that earlier this week, the ADC warned the family of the late President of the Plan by government to make political gains from their father’s death. What we witnessed at the Federal Executive Council this week was only a part of the larger plan that had only started to unfold. The unfolding stage-managed displays of grief and the exploitation of a mourning son who was compelled to perform gratitude in front of the cameras is unconscionable and must be condemned by all decent people.

Nevertheless, we are confident that Nigerians can see through their grand deceit. No public relations stunt can save a government that has behaved in the last two years like an army of occupation.”

Buhari was high in spirit night before his death says Mamman Darua

Mamman Daura, nephew of former President Muhammadu Buhari, says the late Nigerian leader was in good spirits hours before his death.

Buhari passed away on Sunday at the age of 82 in a clinic in London, the United Kingdom.

Daura told ThisDay that he spent Saturday evening with Buhari at the clinic, where he had been receiving medical care.

He said Buhari was cheerful and talkative and even made plans to return to Nigeria later in the week after his discharge.

We were together on Saturday, talking and laughing, and Buhari was in high spirits in the London Clinic where he was admitted,” Daura said.

We talked about everything. He even had the plan to depart for Nigeria upon his discharge this week and made sure that arrangements were made to sort out the hotel bills of everybody who was in London on his behalf before departing.”

Daura said he left Buhari around 9 p.m. on Saturday, intending to see him again on Sunday afternoon.

But by midday on Sunday, he said Buhari’s condition took a sharp turn for the worse.

“I left him around 9pm on Saturday in high spirits and promised to see him on Sunday afternoon. He was looking forward to his doctor’s visit on Sunday morning,” Daura said.

“But around midday, he started having breathing challenges, and doctors rushed to his side to try and manage it. But unfortunately, around 4.30 pm, he gave up the ghost.”

The remains of the late former president departed the European country for Nigeria on Tuesday.

President Bola Tinubu is expected to receive the corpse for burial scheduled later today in Daura, Katsina state.

Iran Nabs 22 Suspected Israeli spies Admist Escalating Conflict

Police in Iran’s Qom province said Saturday that 22 people “linked to Israeli spy services” had been arrested since June 13, Fars news agency reported

22 people were identified and arrested on charges of being linked to the Zionist regime’s spy services, disturbing public opinion and supporting the criminal regime,” the agency said, citing the head of police intelligence in Iran’s Qom province.

It came after Iranian police announced the arrest on Thursday of 24 people accused of spying for Israel and of seeking to tarnish the country’s image, according to a statement carried by Tasnim news agency.

A European national was also arrested for spying, Tasnim reported on Friday, without giving their nationality or the date of the arrest.

Iran regularly announces arrests of suspected spies. Several have been executed in recent weeks.

Norway-based NGO Iran Human Rights said at least 223 people have been arrested nationwide on charges related to collaboration with Israel, cautioning that the actual figure was likely higher.

Ex-Worker At Bishop Oyedepo’s House Speaks Out:’Threatened For Telling The Truth About Worker’s Conditions

A former staff member who previously worked in Bishop David Oyedepo’s residence has come forward with troubling revelations about worker conditions—and claims to now be receiving threats for speaking up.

In a now-viral series of social media posts, the individual, known on X as @greatness0220, detailed their experiences while employed in the household of the influential preacher and founder of Living Faith Church, also known as Winners’ Chapel.

You come to my DM to threaten me cos I spoke up about the treatment workers receive in Papa’s house,” they wrote, adding that they left the church for the sake of their mental health. “Mind you, it was my church before, but I had to stop for my mental health.”

In an earlier post that attracted significant attention, the ex-worker gave a chilling account of life behind the scenes:

“I worked in Bishop Oyedepo’s house, and they throw food away every day but you as a cook dare not eat even in the kitchen. They have CCTV cameras in the kitchen that is watched 24/7. Security are always looking hungry and haggard. It’s a sad sight.”

The post was shared alongside a tweet from tech entrepreneur Osaretin Victor Asemota, who echoed similar sentiments about poor treatment in the homes of the wealthy.

The incident has sparked a flurry of online debate, with many users expressing outrage and demanding accountability, especially from institutions that operate in the name of faith and service.

While the church has yet to officially respond, the whistleblower is standing firm:

I just want them to fix their workers’ welfare—especially the low-level workers.”

This story continues to gain momentum online as questions mount about the labor conditions within faith-based institutions.

Nigeria Would be Far worse Without Prayer-Adeboye

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has said the power of prayer over the nation has kept the nation saying, “Some say, ‘You’ve been praying and fasting — where is the result?’ I laugh. If we had not prayed, Nigeria would have been in a far worse state. Let’s not stop”.

He also declared that RCCG operates under a divine shield — a supernatural covering that has preserved the church from calamities since its inception.

Speaking on Sunday during the monthly Thanksgiving service and special prayer for security and paramilitary personnel at the RCCG national headquarters in Ebute-Metta, Lagos, Adeboyeadded, “There is a God who rules in the affairs of men. If those praying would pause for just one week, the difference would be terrifying. Keep praying. God controls the hearts of kings.”

Adeboye preaching on the topic “Shadow of the Almighty,” talked about miraculous accounts that point to what he described as the “peculiarity” of RCCG under God’s shadow.

He said, “I never preach church or denomination, but there is something peculiar about the Redeemed Christian Church of God. There is a shield over the RCCG — unseen but undeniably present.

Adeboye recalled how a building in the United States, which hosts an RCCG house fellowship, was the only one spared in a row of 15 houses during a devastating flood. “House after house was flooded, but house number eight — the only one with a sign that read, ‘House Fellowship of RCCG holds here’ — remained untouched,” he said.

He also cited a fire incident in March at Otedola Bridge, Lagos, where a blaze razed multiple buildings but mysteriously spared an RCCG structure. “The buildings before and after were consumed, yet the RCCG building was left standing. That is not a coincidence — that is divine covering,” Adeboye said as the church’s media team projected the image during his sermon.

He emphasized that although God’s protective presence may not always be visible, it is powerful and ever-present for those who abide in Him. “Your security is only assured in Him. Whether in peace or war, young or old, the Almighty casts a shadow of protection over His own,” he declared.

Earlier in the service, his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, led a passionate session of prayer for the peace and progress of Nigeria and those in leadership. “Let’s ask God to show our president mercy and give him peace, so that he may enjoy his time in office,” she prayed.

The Thanksgiving service, which also honored security and paramilitary forces, highlighted RCCG’s ongoing commitment to spiritual intercession for Nigeria’s peace and divine protection for its people.Source
