2face, Natasha fight dirty on Instagram Live amid singer’s alleged arrest in UK

Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, also known as 2face, and his new wife, Natasha Osawaru, appeared to quarrel on Daddy Freeze’s Instagram Live on Monday.

Freeze was conducting the session with 2face’s former management when the singer decided to join in.

2face could be heard asking her, “what is your problem?”

At one point, Natasha tried to take the phone, as the couple shouted at each other before the session ended.

This comes after a video surfaced on social media showing 2face appearing to be arrested in the UK.

The footage, shared by blogger Tosin Silverdam on TikTok, showed officers speaking with the singer outside what appears to be a retail store before escorting him away with his hands cuffed behind his back.

Bandits Kill 16 Vigilantes, Abduct 42 Residents in Recent Niger Attacks

According to local sources, the attacks occurred between Sunday, 9 November, and Thursday, 13 November 2025, forcing many residents to flee to neighbouring communities for safety.

A source said the bandits first stormed Dutsen Magaji village on Sunday, abducting 22 residents.

When they came on Sunday, the vigilantes pursued them and engaged them in a gun duel. In the process, three vigilantes were killed, and five people are currently receiving treatment in hospital,” the source explained.

He added that the attackers returned at dawn on Thursday, 13 November, invading Magama village during early morning prayers. The bandits reportedly surrounded the mosque while worshippers were praying and abducted more than 20 people.

According to him, some vigilantes attempted to confront the attackers, unaware that the bandits had set an ambush. The bandits opened fire, killing 13 vigilante members and injuring several others.

In a statement, the Press Secretary to the Chairman of Mashegu LGA, Isah Ibrahim Bokuta, confirmed the killings, describing the fallen vigilantes as heroes who sacrificed their lives to defend their communities.

Bokuta added that the local government appreciated their courage and selfless commitment to keeping the area safe

When contacted, the Niger State Police Command spokesperson, SP Wasiu Abiodun, said he would verify the incidents and revert.

United States Senator, Ted Cruz has claimed that the Nigerian government is aware of policies fueling alleged Christian persecution in Nigeria, but chooses media manipulation over accountability.

In a statement he posted on his X account on Friday, Cruz also warned about a PR campaign being waged by the Nigerian government to fight the accusations.

Nigerian officials know their policies have created an environment in which Christians are being persecuted and slaughtered, including their enforcement of sharia law and their tolerance of Islamist violence,” Cruz said (via Fox News Digital).

“Instead of reversing these policies, they are waging a media campaign to escape exposure and accountability. I intend to prevent them from doing so.”

This is coming after the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria, Yusuf Tuggar, recently spoke on the alleged Christian genocide in Nigeria on Piers Morgan Uncensored.

United States President Donald Trump had designated Nigeria as a country of particular concern a few weeks ago.

Trump cited what he described as ongoing violence against Christians and the failure of the Nigerian government to protect religious minorities.

The US leader also said he had asked the Department of Defense to prepare for possible military action in Nigeria if the Nigerian government “continues to allow the killing of Christians.”

But the Nigerian government has strongly denied the persecution of any religious groups in the country.

ObasEmpire reports that the incident came to public attention on November 14, 2025, after a document claimed to be from the hospital began to circulate online.

The hospital, however, later announced that the medical report did not come from them and described it as fake.

They stated that their facility had no connection to the document spreading across social media.

Regina responded on her Instagram page, explaining that the situation troubled her because she knew the owner of the hospital on a personal level.

She said she had been prepared to take legal action before the hospital made its position known.

She expressed relief that the hospital addressed the issue and said their statement helped clear the confusion.

She added that the clarification allowed her to drop the matter and move forward.

The president of the United States of America, Donald Trump, has again addressed the alleged killing of Christians in Nigeria by some Islamic terrorists.

Speaking in a 15-second video while on board Air Force One on Sunday, November 2, 2025, the American President said the US government would not sit back and watch the ongoing acts of terrorism in Africa’s most populous nation.

He said, “They’re killing a record number of Christians in Nigeria and the country is going bad also. You know, that part of the world, very bad. They’re killing the Christians and killing them in very numbers and we’re not gonna allow that to happen.”

This reaffirmation by Trump on the alleged killings comes barely two days after he announced the designation of Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern.

Describing Nigeria as a “now disgraced country”, Trump also threatened to invade the African nation with troops from the US Department of War while ending the flow of funds for various humanitarian interventions.

He said, “If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the USA will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,’ to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.

I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians!”Trump wrote on social media.These declarations by Trump followed a series of allegations of Christian genocide in the Northern part of Nigeria, including a bill – The Nigeria Religious Freedom Accountability Act of 2025 – which was sponsored by US Senator Ted Cruz.

Niger tanker explosion: Death toll rises to 57

The death toll from the tanker explosion in Essa community, Katcha Local Government Area of Niger State, has risen to 57.

The tragic incident occurred on October 21, 2025, when a petrol tanker overturned and spilled its contents. Residents reportedly attempted to scoop the fuel, triggering a massive explosion.

At the time, the disaster was said to have claimed over 35 lives and left many others with varying degrees of injuries.

Confirming the latest development to ObasEmpire, the Director of Information and Linkages of the Niger State Emergency Management Agency, NSEMA, Dr Ibrahim Hussaini, stated that the death toll has now increased to 57, while 52 victims are currently receiving treatment in different hospitals.

He explained that those who died were among the 14 critically injured victims of the explosion.

Hussaini Isah, Head of the Minna Operations Office of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), had in a statement on October 24, 2025, confirmed that 46 people had lost their lives as one more person succumbed to injuries, while about 63 others were still undergoing treatment in various hospitals.

He had explained that the 45 fatalities comprised 12 males, 27 females, and 6 children, while the 63 injured victims included 24 males, 32 females, and 7 children.

Isah had stated: “All the deaths and injured persons were as result of scooping attitudes. Some of the victims were initially evacuated to Essa Primary Health Care, Idris Private Hospital, but were later moved to Umaru Sanda General Hospital Bida and Bida Federal Medical Centre. But 14 critically injured were referred to Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital for further treatment.”
